Deadpool Games of Death

How quickly things change in the world of comics. On the 11th February I posted an article about how much I was enjoying the current Deadpool run, even being as bold as stating “Deadpool bigger than Batman?” (Dimitri soon let his feelings known about that statement). How I regret writing that article now, Deapool has turned into a glistening turd on the ever-growing mountain of turds that Marvel squeeze out every Thursday.

Deadpool, bigger than Batman?

Daniel Way (writer) and Paco Medina (pencils) have managed to capture the mad world of Deadpool brilliantly. We've already seen the Merc with the mouth infiltrate a legion of invading Skrulls, been tricked by Norman Osborn whilst trying to help Nick Fury, battled a mad surgeon and army of zombies. Issues 6 and 7 continue the sillyness, with Deadpool on his way home he's attacked by the savage man fish Tiger Shark and as with all Deadpool stories the current run is packed with one liners and over the top fight scenes.
