Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 20:13 The Hulk is very much a difficult character to get a grip on, as anyone who saw me trying to write this first paragraph will attest to (this is attempt number 23 now). This has not stopped him becoming one of the most recognisable pop culture icons on the planet though. The term “hulk out” is often used to describe people when they start having a benny over something completely ridiculous, like running out of bacon. However while The Hulk himself is a well known character, it’s often easy to forget that he has an alter ego who perpetually stands in the shadow. Here we have a story that attempts to rectify this problem.

Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 20:02 So here it is. After 2 months delay, the last issue of Azzarello and Risso’s crime epic has hit the stands. Was it worth the wait? Did it tie up all the loose ends and answer all the questions that it had raised in previous issues? The answer's are kind of and no, in that order.

John Constantine is a bastard. If you’ll excuse my profanity, there’s simply no other way to put it better than that. In the works of Alan Moore, two things have endured; (IMHO) England, and John Constantine. Since he stepped out of the pages of Swamp Thing, and into his own series, Constantine has saved the world, conned the Devil, loved, lost, killed, resurrected & generally become something of a very British institution in “adult” comics. Not bad going for someone that was originally only meant to be a Sting look-alike.

Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 9:20 esterday was the day I had been waiting 5 years for. 100 Bullets was set to ship its final issue. I had spent the past few days re-reading issues 1-99 in preparation. I was hyped. I was psyched, & ultimately I was annoyed. It’s now not due out till March 18th. So... what to write about?
