Wormwood – The Last Battle Issue #1

Wormwood, now in its second short series is a simple tale, of a young TV executive, his dreadlocked friend, his pet rabbit, and his rival, who has descended into self pity and madness, and who craves revenge over the titular character, who he blames for his downfall. Well it would be simple but this is comic book genius Garth Ennis’s creation, so this simple premise is some what confused by the fact that Danny Wormwood is the anti Christ, his friend is Jesus, his pet rabbit masturbates furiously over internet rabbit porn and of course talks, and his rival is tormented by his estranged wife who’s had a partial sex change to please him, and his hotel rooms television is helping him plot revenge.

Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 14:44 So Friday was “Avatar Day”, & to celebrate the fact that 24 hours previously they had released one of the most underwhelming trailers ever, 20th Century Fox set up free screenings all over the world of 15 minutes of footage to showcase the 3D technology that Avatar would use.
